Malta!

Malta is a group of islands in the heart of the Mediterranean, just below Sicily.

the Wilde family woke early, eager to jump off the ship and explore the beautiful island by foot. Malta feels like one massive fort, great rock walls and fortresses tower above the port and surrounding city center. We hit a few sights, including the lovely 18th century Barracca Gardens with a stunning view of the harbor, the lovely exterior of Cathedral of St John, and a local art exhibition.

My dad and brother spent the afternoon visiting the World War II Monument while my mom and I walked the myriad of cobblestone streets. We window-shopped as Christmas lights brightly decorated the streets and artificial trees and familiar carols drifted from one shop to the next!

Cappuccinos and Maltese pastries in the afternoon!
