Barcelona, Spain

Our next stop was Barcelona! With the sun shining bright, and our hands guarding our wallets and belongings from pickpockets, my parents toured the city with special attention to the works of Gaudi while Dave and I set to the streets on our own. We navigated Las Ramblas, a major pedestrian walkway busy with restaurants, shops and street performers.

We then set off to visit Camp Nou, home to world famous FC Barcelona since its construction in 1957. The stadium is rich with history and tradition and seats 99,354, making it the largest stadium in Europe! Dave and I wandered through the Trophy room, viewed the locker rooms, and walked the length of the field, finally enjoying the full view of the field from the press box.
Go FC Barcelona! Mes que un club!!
