Vietnam to Laos

The journey from Hanoi, Vietnam to Vientiane, Laos was LONG, over 21 hours on a sleeper bus! We reached the boarder by early morning and after checking out with Vietnam Immigration Offices, the bus driver waved us into the fog and mist ahead yelling "Walk to Laos!" Chilled and sleepy, my friends and I walked along the misty mountain road until we reached the Laos boarder.

I enjoyed my time in Vietnam very much, but the atmosphere was chaotic and the people were exhausting at times. Bring on Laos!!
