Just a quick two nights in Athens to catch up with life and wash the
saltwater, sand and sunscreen out of all my clothes!
I spent my last night in Greece with two lovely women from Canada. We
roamed the Plaka neighborhood in search of dinner, laughing as
restaurant owners, one after another, invited us to sit at their very
"best" table and enjoy wine on the house along with the "best" food in
Athens. After listening to a handful of pitches, we settled on our
best offer and had a lovely dinner - Chicken Soulvaki!
Goodbye Greece! I will certainly miss the sunshine and the wonderful food, but now I'm off to meet Jen in Dublin!
