The fairgrounds are massive and chaotic and the crowds are excited - families and children push their way to the ferris wheel, schnitzel and sausage stands galore, the smell of candy fills the air, horse-drawn carriages trot through the crowds, massive tents line the street brimming with tourists and locals, steins are raised high in the air, and everyone is prosting, singing and dancing to the band!
